Who Zaidan is, and why it matters

Zaidan Morgan founded Pillow Expert in 2024 after spending a year (and more than he’d like to admit) attempting to alleviate his own neck pain with pillows. He couldn’t find anyone who has actually slept on the thing, and who’s giving an honest, hands-on review.

So he built it. Zaidan personally tested most of the pillows on this site and wrote the testing method that the rest of the team uses. He’s a side sleeper, so loft and neck alignment are the most important factors that determine whether you wake up feeling refreshed or achy. If a pillow passes the test here, it’s because it passed the test that Zaidan set: purchase it, sleep on it for weeks, and be honest about the issues.
